As a Neuropsychologist, I am dedicated to understanding how brain health impacts thinking, emotions, and daily life. I specialize in assessing and supporting individuals who are experiencing changes in memory, attention, or other cognitive abilities due to neurological conditions, injury, or developmental differences.
With a Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology from York University, I provide Neuropsychological Assessments for children (age 7+), teens, adults, and seniors, examining a wide range of thinking skills such as memory, attention, problem-solving, language, and processing speed. I have a particular focus on helping individuals and families better understand cognitive, learning, and emotional needs.
My clinical experience includes providing therapy and assessments at the York University Psychology Clinic, as well as placements in hospital and community settings such as Sunnybrook Hospital and the Community Head Injury Resource Services in Toronto. Most recently, I completed a Canadian Psychological Association-accredited residency at London Health Sciences Centre, where I worked with people experiencing a variety of brain-related conditions, including neurological disorders, epilepsy, and recovery from brain surgery.
In addition to neuropsychological assessments, I also have experience conducting Psychoeducational Assessments through the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, helping students identify Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning strengths and challenges, and giftedness.
Before my clinical psychology training, I earned a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Guelph, where my research focused on learning and memory. I continue to pursue research in this area through my current postdoctoral fellowship at Baycrest Centre. I have also taught university courses on memory and brain-behaviour relationships at Glendon College (York University) and the University of Guelph.
I am dedicated to providing clear answers, practical recommendations, and compassionate care to help clients and their families navigate challenges and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, I love going for runs, reading a book at the beach, exploring hiking trails, camping, and relaxing at the cottage.
Same trusted team and quality therapy and assessment services to help you find clarity, strength, and balance.
