Do you find yourself wondering what’s wrong with you or why you don’t fit in? As someone who is not-so-ordinary myself, I’m invested in providing you with a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space. My favourite part of my job is helping people recognize that there really isn’t anything wrong with them and that they can thrive by understanding and accepting who they are.

With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I have worked with children, youth, and adults in both counselling and school board settings, supporting individuals with a wide range of goals. My goal is to offer you a supportive environment where you can explore everyday practices that enhance your quality of life, foster a sense of purpose and belonging.

I am well-versed in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics and Tourette’s syndrome (CBIT) and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours such as skin-picking and hair pulling. I also utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for ADHD, depression, anxiety and autism (Level 1 and Level 2).

I also see individuals with ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) and can help work on depression or emotional management with those who have experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). I believe in the science behind these approaches and their ability to change the relationship you have with your symptoms. Our brain is like a muscle: with the right training and practice, we can build mental strength and resilience.

When I work with youth ages 17 years old and younger, I encourage parents/guardians to schedule a session with me before I meet with their child. During this meeting, we will talk about the process, any recommendations for next steps and collaborate on different ways we can support your child while in therapy and beyond.

I look forward to getting to know you and being a part of this important chapter!
