Are you or your child finding it difficult to do everyday activities, whether at work, school, home, or during your free time, because of challenges with your body, mind, or emotions? Maybe there is something you wish you or your family member could do more easily, independently, or confidently?
As an Occupational Therapist, I am here to help you discover creative and practical ways to make daily life easier. This could mean working on hand or movement skills, learning how to manage stress and big emotions, or finding helpful tools if you are sensitive to certain sounds or textures. My main goal is to help you get back to the activities that matter most to you.
I have experience working in hospitals, private clinics, and universities. Most recently, I supported adults and seniors with serious mental health challenges at the Specialized Mental Health department at the Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) @ Chicopee. Before that, I was an accessibility consultant at Wilfrid Laurier University, supporting students with disabilities in their studies.
I currently work in Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry at WRHN @ Midtown, where I help youth leaving the emergency department connect with resources, provide short-term counselling for transitioning between hospital and home, and consult with a team on complex cases.
I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all my clients. My aim is to support you through challenges, help you navigate crisis situations if needed, and empower you to take part in meaningful daily activities. Let’s work together to help you feel more confident, capable, and connected in everyday life.

In my free time, I love being with my husband and kids, and I enjoy taking walks with my Cavalier Spaniel, Şeker (which means “Sugar” in Turkish). I also like to perform at open mic events whenever I get the chance.
