When life feels overwhelming, confusing, or disconnected, therapy provides a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you can better understand your experiences and work toward meaningful change. Therapy, to me, is about building a trusting relationship where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges.

While working with pre-teens, teens, and adults, I recognize that each stage of life comes with its own unique challenges. For younger clients, there may be difficulties at school, home, and online, such as bullying, social isolation, learning challenges, or communication struggles. This can often show up as withdrawal, behavioural changes, anxiety, sadness, or disconnection. For adults, these concerns may also appear as stress, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, difficulties in relationships, or simply everyday functioning.

My approach is person-centred and collaborative, meaning I view you as the expert in your own life. Together, we work at your pace to better understand what you’re going through and what you need in order to feel more grounded and supported. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-based practices. This allows me to tailor therapy to best fit your needs, strengths, and goals. I also offer  Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics and Tourette’s syndrome (CBIT) and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for hair pulling, skin-picking, and other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours.

With younger clients, I also recognize the importance of working with parents or caregivers to support the therapeutic process. When appropriate, I begin with a parent session before working individually with the child or teen, and I maintain a focus on building trust and safety so that therapy feels like a secure space for self-expression.

At the core of my work is the belief that therapy should feel safe, respectful, and supportive. I aim to help you build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself so you can navigate life’s challenges with more confidence and clarity.
